It is here once again… Bring your partners or friends and waltz down the red carpet to our grand ball this year! Dance all you can into the twilight while enjoying the delicious variety of cuisines. Theme this year’s “Dance Into the Twilight”. What’s more, lucrative prizes are also up for grabs! That is if you are the lucky one!!

Besides that, Air Asia is also so kind for sponsoring UMSA Grand Ball 2009. Hence, to thank Air Asia, there will be a Youtube video competition!! The winner of this competition gets to receive a return Premium Economy ticket from Melbourne to London via Kuala Lumpur!! And YES, it is to LONDON!! So, grab hold of this golden oppurtunity and join the competition… All you have to do is create a video on ‘How and Why I should fly Air Asia X between Malaysia and New Zealand?’. Next, submit the video onto Youtube by 12 midnight on the 28th of August 2009. Two most creative videos will be chosen and played during the night of the ball and the one with the loudest cheer will win the prize! The following are the rules and regulations for the competition:

1.  One Ball ticket per entry.
2.  The duration of the video should not exceed 5 minutes.
3.  Entries must be submitted to youtube.com by 12 midnight of 28th August 2009.
4.  Late entries will not be entertained.
5.  The top 2 videos will be selected and played during the ball. The one with the loudest cheer wins.
6.  Judges’ decisions are final.

So, why hesitate? UMSA is going to set up a stall in the Quad this Wednesday (12th August 2009) from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. selling the ball tickets. The following are the details:

Price? $ 70 (members upon showing membership card)

$ 75 (non-members)

$ 660 (table of ten people)

* Must be paid IN FULL upon buying tickets at the stall

*** Earlybird tickets will be available for 20 individuals!! Members pay $ 66 while non-members pay $ 70 for the earlybird tickets. Earlybird tickets are only for those who sign up at the stall personally. Better hurry to avoid disappointment!
