FAQ
Below are some frequently asked questions:
How do I join UMSA?
You can always register online or contact any of the UMSA committees.
Do I have to be a Malaysian to join UMSA?
No. UMSA is open to all nationalities. Feel free to join UMSA to know more about Malaysia’s Culture or merely to know more friends!
Do I have to pay to join UMSA?
As much as we love giving everything free, you will need to pay a one time small amount of NZD 6 for a year worth of membership. That amount will be used to cover orientation and activities cost.
I’m already a member of another club / a Malaysian club. Can I still join UMSA?
Yes. You can join as many clubs as you wish.
Am I still able to attend UMSA activities if I’m not a member?
Yes. However, non-members do NEED to pay a little bit more than other UMSA members in some events and non members will NOT receive our almost weekly news outs for event updates. Join UMSA today!
I did not receive any UMSA e-mail updates. What should I do now?
First thing to do is to check your junk box, it may have landed there. Please mark UMSA mails as “safe” or “not junk” so that UMSA mail will continue to be delivered into your inbox
If that doesn’t work – contact us for personal assistance.
