Favourite Website Polls

*Drum rolls* And the crowd has spoken! By the way, is a group of 15 considered a crowd? Hmm~~ *deep thought* oh, never mind that. Back to business….

A poll has been put up about websites that you people out there like to visit. 15 people voted and the result? *drum rolls*

Congratulations to our very own umsanz.com!! We topped the list by having 6 votes, leading the next contender, Facebook with 5 votes and followed by people’s blogs, Google and Youtube where all three have one vote. Oh and not to forget the last vote was for ‘they all suck’.

While some of us may still be sleeping soundly under the comfort of our blankets, a group of UMSA members gathered in the Engineering building, room 3.403 (not an illegal gathering of course) to choose and vote for the people they think can lead UMSA towards a greater excellence. It was on this day, the 27th of September 2008 that the UMSA committee for the year 2009 was chosen.

Now, guys and girls out there! These are the group of people who are going to bring you a whole lot of fun for the next one year. So, look at them and recognise them by heart. From left and not standing on the bench, we have Jie Huei (ASIA Rep), Daniel (Sports Officer), Anisha (ASIA Rep), Nur Izzati (Social Officer), Andrew (Cultural Officer), Kauthar (Communications Officer), Qamarul Arifin (Cultural Officer), Dimithira (Editor), Vimalan (Communications Officer), Allan (Social Officer) and Kien Seng (Web Officer). Next, the top four standing on the bench, from left we have Naomi (President), Angeline (Treasurer), June (Vice President) and last but not least Jun Yan (Secretary).
